Pomegranate ‘The Tree Of Love’ Gift

£48.00

A pomegranate tree makes a unique and thoughtful gift to celebrate true love. It was a pomegranate tree beside which Juliet and Romeo spent their first wedded night together. Greek legend states that the first pomegranate tree was planted by Aphrodite, the goddess of love. The tree originated in the Middle East, where the tradition of displaying and breaking pomegranates at wedding ceremonies continues to this day.

With its stunning crimson blossoms and coral-coloured autumn foliage the pomegranate tree will make a beautiful feature in any garden.

It will grow happily with little attention. It remains a manageable size for small gardens or pots in a sunny spot. For the best chance of growing ripe pomegranates, we recommend growing the tree under glass.

The healthy young tree will arrive in a terracotta pot accompanied by a bottle of pomegranate molasses.

I was looking for a 40th wedding anniversary gift for our friends and found this Pomegranate Tree which I knew they would enjoy. It is a brilliant site for special gifts that you don’t see on the high street normally.
